You are cordially invited to the “Chat-Fest on the Trails”, to continue the fellowship that we all enjoyed during the Sesquicentennial Celebration in 2007.  Dust off your Distinguished Citizen Buttons, if you have them.  New ones will be available for those who would like one.

What:  The “Chat-Fest on the Trails”

When:  Saturday, June 9, 2012, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm

Where:  Kramer Hall at the First Baptist Church
  324 East Shawnee, Gardner, Kansas

Who:  Distinguished Citizens and Guests

Distinguished Citizens are folks who are at least 70 years of age and have lived in the Gardner Township or USD 231 area for at least 45 of those years.  If you know anyone who would qualify, please invite them.

Come and enjoy early pictures, videos and chatting with long time friends.  Light refreshments will be provided by the Gamma Xi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.  Pictures and videos provided by the Gardner Historical Museum and historical souvenirs will be available for sale.

We are excited to see you at this event, which is in conjunction with Gardner’s “Festival on the Trails”.  Visit the Museum before or after the “Chat-Fest”, as it will be open 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on the day of the Festival.

Once again, the Museum is participating in Gardner’s Festival on the Trails, on SATURDAY, JUNE 11th.
  
We will be open 10:00-6:00 at the Museum, with special historical stories about early times in the area, along with artifacts on loan for the day, author Tom Mach with his latest addition to the “Sissy” trilogy, an exhibition of an old time craft and other surprises.  Ride the wagon from the Festival area & back.  The Bridal Exhibit will also be featured inside the Museum.
